We took a brief stroll down the main street of Baxter Springs, Kansas, after visiting the Visitor Information Center during our October 2022 Kansas and Missouri trip.

As we continued our exploration of the brief section of Route 66 in Kansas during our October 2022 Kansas and Missouri trip, we came to the town of Baxter Springs, which had an interesting visitor center in an old Phillips 66 gas station.

Another Railroad Depot (That’s a Good Thing) As we continued our brief visit to Galena, Kansas, during our October 2022 visit to Kansas and Missouri, we had one more place that we wanted to visit: the Galena Railroad Depot, which is located along the path of Route 66.

As we continued finding interesting sights along Route 66 in Galena, Kansas, we came across an old Texaco gas station.

Pit Stop! After we found Cars on the Route in Galena, Kansas, during our October 2022 Kansas and Missouri trip, we could see another interesting sight just a short distance away down Route 66.

During our recent Kansas and Missouri trip, we decided to check out some things that we had not seen before.
