Over the last weekend, we had some thunderstorms associated with Hurricane/Tropical Storm Isaac.

Trader Jack’s hut sits in front of Samoa Snacks and Trader Jack’s gift shop in the Great Ceremonial House at the Polynesian Resort at Walt Disney World.

Before our trip to Cocoa Beach this year, we had been to Lori Wilson Park several times before, but we never did know about the Maritime Hammock Trail.

The Chinese Theater at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida serves as the entrance to the Great Movie Ride, one of the original attractions from the opening day of the Disney-MGM Studios, as it was called at the time.

Looking down the way in Frontierland at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, we can see several storefronts, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe (maybe the longest named restaurant there), and even Splash Mountain way off in the distance.

I really like views like this from the Disney Wilderness Preserve in Florida.

They say that the Wilderness Lodge at Walt Disney World is reminiscent of National Park Lodges found throughout the United States.

When we are at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, one place we always like to eat is the Tortuga Tavern in Adventureland.

The lifeguard hut at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida, is always one of my favorite photo subjects for whatever reason.
