While we were at Kentucky Lake with our friends the Riedels and the Streets, we went for an evening cruise up into Kentucky for dinner, and that’s when this previously posted photo of Laura was taken.

As you may have already seen, we and the Riedels spent a weekend with the Streets at their place on Kentucky Lake recently.

The recent post about a cold morning on Kentucky Lake reminded me of when we were in almost the exact same place last summer, thanks to the Streets and their hospitality.

When we were at Paris Landing State Park on Kentucky Lake for our church’s couples retreat, it was a cold morning, as you can tell by the snow on the ground off in the distance.

On our trip to Kentucky Lake this last summer, our friends the Streets introduced us to another Civil War site, Fort Donelson.

The weekend before Independence Day, we spent a few days at the lake with our good friends and family, including the Riedels, Streets, Garretts, Holts, and my parents.
