During our 2017 Disney Cruise, while the ship was docked in Nassau, Bahamas, Laura and I made a visit to Junkanoo Beach, enjoying an afternoon there.

Laura and I are the kind of people who like to watch as our cruise ship arrives in a port and docks.

A few years ago on a previous stop in Nassau, Bahamas, we happened upon Christ Church Cathedral, and we enjoyed seeing this interesting church building.

During our recent Disney Cruise, we did not have all that much down time, which in the past we have spent in the nice chairs on the Deck 4 Promenade.

During our recent visit to Cocoa Beach, Florida, as part of our 2017 Disney Cruise trip, we did not think we were going to be able to put out our beach umbrellas, due to the rain and the wind.

Nassau is a popular stop with cruise ship, based on the number of ships that stop there.

One of our favorite things about a Disney Cruise has always been stopping at Castaway Cay, the Disney Cruise Line’s private Bahamas island.

Cruises are exciting during the day because of all of the fun things that you can do during the day, whether you are exploring a port or just hanging around on the ship.

If you like to go to the beach and feel almost all alone, I highly recommend going when there is a threat of rain.

The itinerary of our most recent Disney cruise on the Disney Dream was a little different than our past cruises, with this one having two stops at Castaway Cay instead of a day at sea.
