Whenever we arrive at or leave Nassau during our Bahamas cruises, the ship passes by an interesting lighthouse.

During our 2017 Disney Cruise on the Disney Dream, the ship made not one but two stops at one of our favorite places, Castaway Cay, the Disney Cruise Line’s Bahamas Island.

Whenever our cruises stop in Nassau, Bahamas, we like to find unusual places to visit.

During our 2017 Disney Cruise, while the ship was docked in Nassau, Bahamas, Laura and I made a visit to Junkanoo Beach, enjoying an afternoon there.

Laura and I are the kind of people who like to watch as our cruise ship arrives in a port and docks.

A few years ago on a previous stop in Nassau, Bahamas, we happened upon Christ Church Cathedral, and we enjoyed seeing this interesting church building.

Nassau is a popular stop with cruise ship, based on the number of ships that stop there.

One of our favorite things about a Disney Cruise has always been stopping at Castaway Cay, the Disney Cruise Line’s private Bahamas island.
