Universe of Energy / Burnsland List of Relevance

Universe of Energy

I like this view of the outside of the Universe of Energy at Epcot at Walt Disney World. I think it’s cool how the wide angle lens makes the planter/fountain area look really long.

But perhaps what I like best about it is that if you look at the lower center of the picture, standing at the edge of the water is a duck. Check out the large view to see him better. He stood very still for the longest time, posing for my picture. It’s as if it wasn’t his first time to be photographed.

Of course, if they let me live in a place like that, I would gladly pose for pictures, too!

The Burnsland List of Relevance for 7/10-7/16

You know it is coming almost every Friday. And yet, here you are, once again reading the Burnsland List of Relevance. I know you just can’t look away.

  1. Hot - It’s hot out. How hot? Tabasco sauce is now just considered mild.
  2. Humid - If it were any more humid, we would be underwater. I don’t know how fish stand it all the time.
  3. Weather - If we didn’t have it, what ever would we talk about?
  4. Mustard - I’m not a big fan of mustard, except on my hamburger. So I don’t know why it is on this list. Except that it just popped into my head. If you pop into my head, you can be on this list, too. If you pop up with a $20 bill, you can be number 1 on this list! Money talks.
  5. Fax machines - I heard a statistic that the number one use for a fax machine these days is a doorstop. Or maybe I just made that up.
  6. Birthdays - Yesterday was Jaylin’s birthday. Why is it that he always looks forward to his much more than I look forward to mine?
  7. Mail - No, not email. Real mail. I still enjoy getting it, too.
  8. Burnsland.com - Have you liked our Facebook page yet?
