Under the Cocoa Beach Pier

Summer is almost here. That means it is time to go to the beach, right? Who’s with me?

This shot was taken underneath the Cocoa Beach Pier at Cocoa Beach, Florida. Although it looks rather empty, there are always people around surfing or otherwise enjoying the sand and the waves. And usually some seagulls, too.

I have lots of pictures from underneath the Pier, but very few actually taken from the Pier. Why is that? Because I’m too cheap to pay the $1 per person that they want you to pay for access to the pier. On one visit, though, we were there late enough in the evening that no one was around to take your money. Not sure if it would be worth $1 though. That makes me sound cheap, doesn’t it?
