Sunrise at the Beach

Sunrise at the beach at Cocoa Beach, Florida

The sun rises over the sand at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Actually, we never did get there quite at sunrise, but we did always get there early enough that the sun was still low on the horizon, and it was in fact rising, going higher in the sky. That is almost like sunrise, right?

And besides, who wants to get up before sunrise when they are on vacation, anyway? We didn’t have anything to do besides spending the whole day at the beach, so w didn’t bother to get up at some crazy hour, just so that we could see the sun coming up over the water.

I am sure that the sun rising up from the water is a really neat sight to see. And I actually wouldn’t mind seeing it. Except for the fact that it happens so early. So unless the sun decides to alter its summer hours, I really don’t see us seeing the sunrise.

But that’s okay. Really. I am always just happy to be there.
