A Stream Runs Through It
A quiet stream runs through the middle of the Norway pavilion in Epcot at Walt Disney World as people wait patiently in line for the Frozen Ever After ride. But most people don’t seem to pay any attention to this water feature. It may not be as exciting as a ride, but it is rather picturesque, don’t you think?
This was from our December 2016 trip, in case you are wondering why Christmas garland is on some of the buildings in the background. Or maybe you would not have noticed that if I had not pointed it out to you. That will teach me to open my big mouth!

Not Yet
I took this photo while we were in line for the aforementioned Frozen ride, which was the newest, most popular thing in Epcot at the time. But even though we were in line for the ride, we didn’t actually get on it. Right as we were about to enter the building, which meant that we still had some waiting ahead of us, the ride shut down. The cast members blamed it on some unspecified technical difficulties.
The rest of the day, either the ride was not operating or the line was extremely long. Because that was the most recent time we have visited Epcot, we still have not been on this ride. And because we have not been to Animal Kingdom in over a year, we have not seen all of the new Pandora additions that everyone keeps raving about.
Believe it or not, we have not died yet or experienced any other life setbacks because we have not seen the newest Disney attractions. Yes, it will be nice to see them whenever we get the change. But I do not feel like I am going to explode just because I have not seen them.
It is interesting just how long the lines can be for anything new at Walt Disney World these days, even something relatively simple like a Frozen overlay to the old Maelstrom ride. Everyone clamors for something new, wanting to be among the first to see it. I am sure that is why Disney keeps building new things.
But we don’t feel that way. Instead, we choose to wait until the lines are shorter and the FastPasses are easier to obtain. We will see them when we can.

About the photo
This is another one of those photos where I corrected the blown out sky, similar to others that I have posted recently. Maybe I slightly overcorrected it a bit, but I like this version better than how it looked originally.
This way, it may not look exactly real. But believe it or not, there isn’t much of anything - besides trees and grass - in Walt Disney World that is real. And if you start checking some of the grass, you will find that not even all of it is real, either. The same goes for the trees, too. So why not have some photos that are not real, too?
