Silver Creek Falls at the Wilderness Lodge
Water cascades over Silver Creek Falls at the Wilderness Lodge at Walt Disney World. And the reason I know it is called Silver Creek Falls is because there is a sign that says so, just out of the frame of this photo. But it shows up in the photo that I took just before this one. Otherwise, I would have just called this “A Waterfall at the Wilderness Lodge.”
Silver Creek begins as a spring inside the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge and then runs outside of the building out and over the falls, past the pool, and all the way out to Bay Lake. Or at least that is what it appears to do. I think they have used some trickery here and there. Not that there is any trickery used anywhere else at Walt Disney World, of course. Everything else there is 100% real. But anyway, the creek and the falls are still pretty cool.
“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves; so be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves.” - Matthew 10:16
About the photo:
Once again, I went with a somewhat antique look for this one, as though it might be a photo from a National Park lodge of long ago. Okay, so that may be a bit of trickery, too. We are all pretty tricky today, aren’t we?
