Second Grade

With school starting back, here is a photo of me in second grade, which really wasn’t all that long ago:

In this photo from the school yearbook, that’s me on the left handing an apple to the teacher, Mrs. Roberts. Wasn’t I a good looking kid?

But I have to confess, that shot was set up by the photographer. I would never try to get in the teacher’s good graces by bringing an apple. That is so 20th Century. Oh wait, that photo was from the 20th Century.

Interestingly, Laura has this photo hanging on a bulletin board in her 21st Century classroom. The bulletin board has different pictures of Laura, Jaylin, and me from our time as students at the school, and this was on one of the pages that she scanned in for me.

And even after all these years, I still like that brown leather jacket that I was wearing. Stylish!
