Seagulls on the Beach

Seagulls roam the beach at Cocoa Beach, Florida, looking for something to eat.

What would a beach be without seagulls? It would be nice and quiet, for one thing. But actually, I don’t mind seagulls on the beach. To me, they are just part of the experience. And they don’t usually give us any problems at all.

I do, however, mind people who feed the seagulls, because that just brings around more seagulls looking for handouts. Seagulls should have to work for their food just like the rest of us do.

If you look closely here, you will notice that there are a few seagull impostors among the group - pigeons that are trying to blend in. I guess they heard that there might be some food around, too.

Also, for those of you keeping track at home, I actually did not use a wide angle or fisheye lens for this photo. Yes, I do occasionally use a zoom lens from time to time. But it is rare these days.
