Seagulls in the Sun
A group of seagulls stands in the shallow water at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
It appears that we humans aren’t the only ones who enjoy a nice, sunny day at the beach. These seagulls seem to be enjoying it quite well, too. Must be nice to be them. Go to the beach and hang out all day with their friends. Eat whatever food someone has left, or hope that someone takes pity and offers a handout, which quickly brings 75 more friends over looking for another handout. No boundaries. No office hours. Just fly, eat, sleep. At the beach, of all places.
I’m sure there are advantages to not being a bird, too. Even a beach bird. But sometimes it seems like their life isn’t really all that bad.
