Quiet Cove on the Disney Dream

Quiet Cove is the adults-only area of the Disney Dream, one of the ships of the Disney Cruise Line. Actually, I’m not sure if Quiet Cove is the name of the entire area, or just the name of the adults-only pool. And you can’t actually see it here, but that pool is just below the foreground of this photo, one deck below the area seen here.

One thing is for certain - it definitely was quiet. Back around on the other side of the funnel is the large movie screen known as Funnel Vision, and below that is the family pool. You can probably imagine that there is always some sort of noise from that area. Not that it is necessarily overwhelming noise, but just noise. But here in this area, you can see that several people are lounging quietly. Some were even asleep. There wasn’t any loud music playing, just perhaps something soft. Even the pool down below was quiet.

I guess that is why they call it Quiet Cove.
