Pirates of the Caribbean / Observations of the Past Week
Pirates of the Caribbean
Pictured here is the entrance to Pirates of the Caribbean at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in the early evening. Along with more than a few electric scooters. I would guess those aren’t for the pirates themselves. Unless all that pillaging, plundering, rifling, and looting has started taking its toll on their joints. Maybe a pirate’s life isn’t for me, after all.

Observations of the Past Week (6/12-6/17)
Here are the Observations of the Past Week from Twitter and Facebook. Because if you haven’t read them yet, they are still news. Or not really news. But whatever.
I’m back. Did you miss me? (I’m not sure how to take all the nervous laughs and sideways glances.)
Anyone want to see vacation pictures? I have a few… (Maybe I could pop some popcorn and charge a small admission fee.)
Guess where I’m going next? Did you guess the grocery store? Wow, you’re good! (I wonder what else you can guess about me?)
If life were a musical, I would probably burst into song right about now. “Only an hour til lunch! What goodness will it bring?” (Why don’t we all sing more like they do in the movies?)
So they are changing the rules for the Academy Award for Best Picture. But it will still go to some artsy movie that nobody saw anyway. (I’ve never been called artsy.)
Anyone have any spare motivation? Mine’s in the shop. (Not sure if it needs a tune-up or a jump start.)
“We could all use a little squeeze now and then.” - My Taco Bell mild sauce packet (Always gotta love the wisdom of those little packets. Now where’s my squeeze?)
If people with two left feet are clumsy, what about people with two right feet. That might be me. (Unless that means that we two-right-footed people are even more clumsy. Which still might be me.)
From the NWS: “THESE STORMS WERE LOCATED ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM FROG JUMP TO CANADAVILLE.” Frog Jump? Sounds like an interesting place. (“I have a good name for our town! Let’s call it Frog Jump!”)
Of course it starts raining hard again while I’m out at the barn feeding the horses. (Makes me think again about that proposed tunnel all the way from the house to the barn.)
At least driving through the hard rain this morning helped get the dead bugs off the car windshield. (There’s always something good about driving in a driving rain.)
