Christmas is getting closer every day, so I thought you might like to see a photo of our Christmas tree. After all, everyone else posts photos of their tree, so that means that the rest of us should, too. And in fact, past Christmas tree photos have been pretty popular around here, so why not have more?

In truth, I do like seeing photos of everyone’s Christmas trees, because each tree is unique, taking on some of the characteristics of the decorator(s). This tree has lots of Disney ornaments, some ornaments that were made by Jaylin, some ornaments that Laura’s students have given her over the years, and lots of lights. Because you can’t have too many lights or too many ornaments on the tree.

But just because our tree is this way doesn’t mean that everyone else’s tree has to be this way. Some people prefer only white lights. Some people prefer very few ornaments. Some people put a star on top instead of an angel. And so on. Everyone’s tree is unique. And even in our house, the various trees that we put up are decorated quite differently from each other.

There really is no one right way to decorate a Christmas tree. And that makes all of them cool!
