Old Photos: Dunn's River Falls

Continuing our Old Photos week, here is a view from one of our mission trips to Jamaica. We went there in 2008 and 2009, and on both trips, we wrapped up our week of work with a “fun day” at Dunn’s River Falls in Ocho Rios.
I loved the natural beauty all around the park that surrounds the falls, which included some beautiful gardens filled with tropical plants of all sorts. On both visits, I spent lots of time walking around getting some photos.
But I also spent some time on each visit climbing the falls. They may not look like all that much here, but this photo shows just a small portion of the falls. They go up quite a good distance, and climbing them is a bit of a challenge. You often don’t know where to put your feet or where to grab hold of something with your hands. It is difficult, but it is fun. At least it was for me. Some from our group didn’t think it was quite as fun as the rest of us did, but that’s okay.
