This week, I thought I would go back and look at some old photos. The definition of “old” that I am using is photos that were taken more than a year ago. Most all of the photos that I post are either shots I have taken recently, or shots from one of our more recent Florida trips. I am taking a break from those and looking back at some of my older stuff.

Looking back at older photos is interesting, because I can sometimes see how things have changed. For this photo from our Disney Cruise in 2007, I was using the camera I had at the time, which was a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT. This was the first major trip that I had used that camera on, by the way.

But perhaps the bigger change has come in my photo processing, which has come quite a long way. If I had posted this photo five years ago, it would probably look nothing like it does here, because I did much different things to my photos back then.

I like this colorful view here, and I like the clouds, too. The darker clouds remind me of the rain storm that came across the island later in the day. And while that slowed us down for a while, we still had a great time at Castaway Cay that day.

After all, how can you not have fun on an island paradise? Even if there is a pirate ship there.
