Observations of the Past Week (4/28-5/4)
Here they are once again, those fantastic, funny, freewheeling, fiendish Observations of the Past Week from Twitter and Facebook.
Nothing like a day of hard physical labor to remind you of what it feels like to really be tired. (Not that I necessarily need a reminder.)
There are currently twelve deer in our front yard. Cool. (Laura said she counted 13. Who am I to argue?)
The first Hawaiian Shirt Day of the year went well, I think. (Summer has now officially started.)
The pen is mightier than the sword. But what about the keyboard, because no one uses a pen any more. Or a sword, for that matter. (I don’t think I would be very good in a fight if I were using a keyboard.)
What happens if you tell a duck to duck? (Everyone else’s punchlines were better than what I could come up with.)
Cats are God’s gift to people who like to sweep up hair. (Anyone want a gift?)
It was nice and sunny when I left home, but it is gray and overcast here at the office. Is that a sign I should have stayed home? (Why do I always ignore the signs?)
George Lucas gets a nickel every time someone mentions Star Wars Day today. Seriously. (Or maybe not so seriously.)
