Observations of the Past Week (3/18/13)

The Observations of the Past Week from Twitter and Facebook are back again. Although Spring Break last week meant fewer observations than usual. A brain’s gotta rest, you know.

A lady in our area whose last name was McQueen passed away. Her age: 95. Coincidence? Probably so. (Lightning’s Mother?)

Got home, ate supper, worked on Jaylin’s bicycle, and after all that it was finally starting to get dark. What gives? (Gotta love Daylight Savings Time. Maybe not in the mornings, though.)

Tonight, Laura made pizza and we watched a movie. Hard to beat that. (Maybe we should open a “pizza and a movie” restaurant. Except our couch isn’t big enough for that.)

A sunny Thursday is a good omen for the weekend, right? (In this case, yes it was.)

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:19 (Yes he will.)

Got my first dead bug on the windshield of the year tonight. Spring has arrived. (One of the few things I like about winter.)

Today I was thankful for prescription sunglasses. (And thankful for the sun, too.)

Today we saw both the Tennessee an Mississippi Rivers. And we drove a lot. (But it was worth it.)
