Observations of the Past Week (3/17-3/23)
Here are the Observations of the Past Week from Twitter and Facebook. Looks like the springtime pollen is taking its toll. And that’s nothing to sneeze at.
Gesundheit. (Such a funny way of saying, “Hey, stop sneezing already!”)
5:30 sure did come early this morning. Hey, where’s the sun? (The sun gets to sleep later during Daylight Savings Time. Why can’t I?)
In a world powered by sneezes, I could be king. (Or at least a high ranking official. Secretary of Sneezes?)
I am planning to wear a short sleeve shirt tomorrow, because it will be warm enough. On the first day of spring. (Not that I am complaining about the warmth, mind you.)
It is the first day of spring I am feeling all springy. How about you? (Oh wait, that was just sneezing.)
At one point during lunch, all three of us from our office were eating oranges. Strange coincidence, or engineering telepathy? (And no comments about us being fruity.)
It’s 81 degrees outside. In March. If only Al Gore hadn’t invented Global Warming. (Although back in the cold days of winter, I was wishing for some more Global Warming. Can’t please anyone.)
If it rains today, I will have one of those magic color changing vehicles like they have on the toy aisles - from yellow to red. (Now I know where the toy makers got the idea.)
Yay for the rain! Maybe it will clean out the air. My sinuses could use a break. Really. (Well, it did help for a few hours.)
It’s going to be a busy day today. But that’s okay. (Busy days do go by more quickly, which is sometimes a good thing.)
It’s okay to leave a mess on the breakroom counter. Maybe the Scrubbing Bubbles will come and clean it up. (I saw it on TV, so why doesn’t it work in our office?)
Stay back! The sneezing may begin at any moment! (One of the hazards of the season.)
