Observations of the Past Week (2/25/13)

The Observations of the Past Week from Twitter and Facebook are back again. Mondays are hard, but they did their best to look presentable anyway.

So today is Presidents Day, but I am not really doing anything that would be considered presidential. I hope that wasn’t a requirement. (What do presidents really do, anyway?)

Either I just saw lightning out the window or the paparazzi has finally found my secret hideout. (Hopefully I won’t have to go out and punch a photographer. Because that is what all of us temperamental celebrities do.)

Another sign that spring is getting closer: the sound of leaf blowers outside has returned. Whrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. (Also a good excuse to crank up the music while I work.)

Work on one project, meet on another project, go back to work on the first project. Now I’m confused which one is which. I need a map. (Or a nap.)

Hello, M&Ms! Where have you been all morning? (Surely not hiding behind something more healthy?)

We live by faith, not by sight. - 2 Corinthians 5:7 (Yes we do.)

Two thirds of our office staff is out sick today. I hope that isn’t a sign. (It is, however, a good advertisement for Lysol.)

They have already sprayed de-icer on the roads. So it is okay to drive like madmen, right? (Evidently, you can. At least according to how most people were driving.)

It sure is dark outside because of the rain. Or because we all need a nap. (It is like a sign from God.)

A church couples retreat makes for a good weekend. (If you weren’t there, you don’t know how good your marriage could be.)
