Observations of the Past Week (2/18-2/24)

Here are the Observations of the Past Week from Twitter and Facebook. Actually, they are my observations, just that I post them to Twitter and Facebook. Not that Twitter and Facebook actually make the observations. That would be awkward.

At Target. Resisting the urge to buy a Justin Bieber singing toothbrush. Not that it is taking much willpower to resist. (I resisted. It wasn’t hard.)

Hey, where did Saturday go? (It always seems to get away from me.)

Judging from the traffic this morning, several people didn’t have the day off. Or everyone is hitting the big Presidents Day sales early. (Because all of the presidents liked to shop, after all.)

“LOVE” spelled backwards is “EVIL”. Except that they were evil enough to spell it wrong. (How could they be so evil. I mean evol.)

I haven’t always been like this. I used to be shorter. (I probably used to be funnier, too.)

Today is another one of those beautiful days that I see through the window. At least it is good and warm in here, for the most part. (Some people are window shoppers, I am a window weatherman.)

Our dog must think he is a tree tonight. He certainly has a lot of bark. (And it would probably be worse than his byte if he were a computer.)

Being gone to a meeting certainly throws off my day. (Although I don’t know what would throw on my day.)

Today was one of those days where I woke up thinking it is Friday. Bummer. (That was on Thursday, when it definitely wasn’t Friday.)

Hey, we have a wind advisory today. I hope I don’t get too winded. (And I better remember to wind my watch.)

I can’t tell if that rumbling sound is the wind rattling something, or if it is my stomach growling. Must be almost lunch time. (It all sounds the same after a while.)

Our office roof creaks when a strong wind blows. So it is creaking constantly today. Or maybe the building is haunted. (Maybe we will be on one of those ghost hunting shows.)

Summer time, and the living is easy. Oh wait, it is still winter. Even though it is 79 degrees outside. (Not that I am complaining, of course.)

Tonight, I didn’t need a coat to do the outside chores. In February. Strange weather. (Still not complaining.)

I am already missing those warm temperatures from yesterday. (Now I am complaining.)

My campaign slogan: “I’ll tell you what you want to hear!” Oh wait, I think that one is already taken. (I hate it when the good slogans are already gone.)
