Observations of the Past Week (10/1-10/7)

As usual, here are the Observations of the Past Week from Twitter and Facebook. Not that there is anything usual about them.

It is interesting how friends make any occasion even more pleasant. (Very true words. Try it sometime.)

Would Monday be better if it didn’t come so early in the week? (Is the stigma associated with the name Monday, or its position in the week?)

There is a right way and a wrong way to come out of the restroom. Hitting your arm on the door handle is not the right way. (Of course, falling flat on my face would have been an even more wrong way.)

Tonight should be a good night for watching some football. I forgot who is playing, but it doesn’t really matter. (That’s how you know you like football.)

Yet another beautiful day outside. Not that I’m complaining. Except that I’m inside. (You have heard the saying “On the outside looking in.” I was the opposite of that.)

I’m happy that my fantasy football team finally got a win. All due to good fantasy coaching, I’m sure. (I still can’t wash off all that fantasy Gatorade they poured on me.)

If sound doesn’t travel through a vacuum, why are vacuum cleaners so loud? Our cat wants to know. (I’m pretty curious about it, too.)

Good morning! Happy hardest-day-of-the-week-to-spell to you! (I’m sure you know which one I am talking about.)

Thursday afternoon just goes on and on and on and on and… (It may still be going on, for all I know.)

Today I am in the minority that has not posted some sort of Steve Jobs remembrance. Although I have commented on a few others’. (Not that he wasn’t a good guy or anything.)

Oh wait, you mean today is not Saturday? What have I been doing all day? (Nothing like a day off to make it seem like Saturday.)

Waiting is never my strong point. Oh wait, I have said that before. (And if you wait around, I will probably say it again.)

No, I did not ride a horse today. I rode two. (But not at the same time, for those who asked.)
