Morocco at Epcot

A view from Morocco in Epcot’s World Showcase at Walt Disney World. As we were walking through the archway, I liked how it framed the palm tree in the adjacent courtyard, so I shot some brackets of it. Because of the narrow passageway, I probably wouldn’t have been able to get this without the wide angle lens.

Photographing World Showcase

I like all of the World Showcase countries at Epcot. I have always enjoyed learning a bit about the different cultures of the different countries represented. But then after I started taking pictures, I liked them even more.

The different architectural styles represented make for some pretty unique photo opportunities. I could probably spend much more time taking pictures there than I do. But my family would rather keep moving, which I can understand. And besides that, I would eventually run out of memory card space and battery life. So I get what pictures I can.

Also, we don’t go to Epcot (or any of the other parks for that matter) quite as often as we go to the Magic Kingdom. So before this trip, it had been a year and a half since our last Epcot visit. So from that, it seems like I see more things to take pictures of, because I don’t have as many Epcot pictures as I have Magic Kingdom pictures.

So while some people often label World Showcase as boring with not enough to do, I always find more than enough to keep me occupied there. It’s a fun place to be.
