More Ice

No, that isn’t water on the side of my car. At least not in liquid form. That is the ice that accumulated on the way home today.

This is the second day in a row for the ice. Yesterday it was sleet. Today it was freezing rain.

Schools let out early. Businesses closed early. We in our family all made it home safely, and we got to enjoy an unexpected relaxing afternoon, which was nice.

But I hope the ice doesn’t become a habit.
