Monorail Along the Trail

While we were walking along the Walk Around the World that goes around Seven Seas Lagoon at Walt Disney World, a Monorail came past us. Actually, several Monorails went by over the time that we were out there, but this one made for a nice photo.

If you look closely, you will see that it isn’t just any Monorail, but it is in fact the Monsters University Monorail, which was created to promote that movie. Also while we were out walking, the Iron Man 3 Monorail went by a time or two. These Monorail “skins” are not popular with some people, but they are quite popular with others. Jaylin has already been asking if there will be special Monorails this summer for Captain America: Winter Soldier or for some other movie. But nothing has been announced for any Monorails so far, much to Jaylin’s disappointment.

Personally, I prefer the “normal” Monorails without some movie hype tied to them, but that is just me. And I am probably not your “typical” Walt Disney World guest, either. So would imagine they won’t come asking for my opinion. But that is probably just as well, because sometimes opinions are best kept to oneself.
