Meeting Captain Mickey Mouse
During our Disney Cruise on the Disney Dream, we had the chance to meet Captain Mickey and have our photo made with him. It is nice of Mickey to let Captain Guus be the one to pilot the ship, but we all know who is the real captain, right? And I’m not talking about Captain EO, either. Because he wasn’t on the ship.
One of the things I like about the Disney Cruises is that the lines to meet the characters seem to be shorter than the character lines in the parks. For this photo, for example, we waited maybe 10 or 15 minutes, if that long.
The one exception to that rule was the line to meet the princesses on our day at sea. That line was long and slow moving, but the upside was that you got to wait in one line to meet five different princesses, so I guess it was worth it for that. It wasn’t worth it for me, though, so I didn’t bother getting in line. The girls in our group did give it a try, but then they gave up after a while because they weren’t getting anywhere fast.
But otherwise, all of our character-meeting experiences were great and relatively wait-free. Not too bad, when you are meeting the most famous mouse in the world.
