Main Street Station at Walt Disney World
Main Street Station at Walt Disney World greets guests as they arrive at the Magic Kingdom. Or here, it says goodbye to guests as they leave at night. As we were on our way out, we stopped for a few quick photos.
As you can see, on this particular day we didn’t stay until the Magic Kingdom closed. It had been a long day, and we didn’t feel like fighting the crowds to see the fireworks that night. So we left. Yes, that doesn’t really sound like us, does it? I should also add that this was right after our Disney Cruise, so we were also just a bit tired after that. Although it had been a fun week, it had also been an active week.
Warning: This isn’t really a good photo. Sure, it looks nice at a smaller size. But once you look at the larger view and start zooming in on the details, you can start to see its flaws. It isn’t perfectly in focus, which is especially noticeable in some of the small edge lights around the station. And there is a good bit of noise, too.
This photo would have been much better if I had taken the time to do it right, using my tripod and a long shutter time. But as I mentioned, we were really looking to get out of there, so I cranked up the ISO and just did a quick handheld shot. It really isn’t bad for what it is, but it could have been a lot better, too. Shame on me for being in a hurry.
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. - Colossians 3:12
