Laura at Christmas

Laura at Christmas

For an after-Christmas Christmas post, here is Laura sitting near the Christmas tree in my parents’ house at one of our family gatherings. We were actually there a couple of different days for different family events, and it was all good.

We had a wonderful Christmas, enjoying time with our extended family, as well as some time with just our own immediate family. And fortunately, our holiday time isn’t over yet, because we still have some time with friends and family planned for the coming week. We like to make our Christmas holiday last as long as it can.

That should explain why things have been a little light here at the blog as far as posts go in the recent days. I am taking a bit of a blogging break. You may see a few more posts here next week, but then things should return to some sort of normal the week after that. Hopefully, you are having too much fun spending time with your family to read blog posts, anyway.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. - 1 John 4:7

About the Photo

For this photo, I used an external flash, bouncing the light off of the ceiling just a bit. And one of the things I like the best about it, besides Laura, of course, is the bokeh on the Christmas tree lights.

A single RAW exposure, processed in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CS6. Read more about the photo software and gear I use at the camera gear page.
Camera: Canon EOS 60D
