Laura by the River
Laura stands by the Tennessee River at Pittsburgh Landing at Shiloh National Military Park in Tennessee.
For our visit to Shiloh, it was a beautiful day outside. The sun was shining. A slight breeze was blowing. It wasn’t too hot, and it wasn’t too cold. Just perfect.
When we arrived, we ate a picnic lunch here on the riverbank, watching the water and the fishermen go by. It was nice and relaxing, and something different from what we usually do on a normal day at home.
But of course, even better than the scenery or the weather was the company. It is hard not to have a good time when we are out doing something - almost anything, actually - together. And that is the way it should be.
