Inside Disney's Wilderness Lodge

A look inside the main lobby building of the Wilderness Lodge at Walt Disney World in Florida.

I am always impressed by the size of the Wilderness Lodge lobby. The main space appears to be huge with the large columns of lashed-together timbers going all the way to the high ceiling. But at the same time, the size isn’t exactly imposing. Even with the extremely high ceiling, the lobby feels like a nice place to sit and relax for a while.

Getting a good photo of the lobby showing its size wasn’t always easy until I used a fisheye lens. As you can see, this gives a view from the floor all the way up to the ceiling, way up there. Pretty cool.
