Here Come the Waves at Cocoa Beach

I was standing in the Atlantic Ocean as the waves were rolling in at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach, Florida. And I was making certain that my camera strap was around my neck and that I also had a good grip on the camera. Just in case. Because I wouldn’t want to end my beach trip with a camera catastrophe, after all.

As with the Polynesian Bus Stop photo from last week, this was a photo that I hadn’t actually planned to post. I had just picked one at random to try even more new photo processing techniques that what I was trying with the bus stop photo, and once again this one turned out so well that I just had to post it.

Don’t you hate it when you find some new way to process your photos, and then you want to go back and redo all of the photos you have already done? Or at least all of your favorite photos that you have already done? Or am I the only one that happens to?

As I have probably said around here before, my photo processing, um, process is ever changing. Sometimes it is only a slight change as I learn a few tweaks, and other times it involves a pretty major change, giving the photos a noticeably different look, as I think this photo has, along with at least the next few that will come after it. It is fun to keep learning new things and new ways, and that is one of the things that makes working with these photos exciting. Of course, the other thing that makes it exciting is hearing from you when you like one of these photos. Have any questions? I’m always happy to answer them, too. I don’t have any secrets that I don’t want to share about photo processing, but I do try to keep from boring everyone if most people are only interested in looking at the nice photos and then moving on to the next blog.
