Happy birthday to my sweet, beautiful wife! Yes, Laura has a birthday once again. So if you see her or have her phone number, be sure to wish her a happy birthday! I won’t tell you her age, but she is not quite as old as I am.
Unfortunately, we are not out exploring the trails today. Can you believe that people actually have to work on their birthdays? Shouldn’t your birthday automatically be a personal holiday? Because it is not a holiday for her, this photo above of Laura was from when we were out exploring the trails at Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park back in the fall. I never had shared this photo, but it was perfect for today.
As for many people this year, this is actually Laura’s second birthday in a pandemic. But at least we are not as sequestered in our home as we were for her birthday last year. We still will not be going to a restaurant to eat for a celebration. But at least this year things are a little more normal than they were last year.

I have said it often before, but I am very thankful for Laura, because she is perfect for me. I am happy to celebrate the day she was born, because life would not be anywhere near as fun if she had not been born. She is a blessing to so many people, especially to me.
