Happy Birthday to Laura!

Today, April 12, is Laura’s birthday! I won’t tell you how old she is, because that isn’t always considered polite, but she is still younger than me. That always seems to be true.

In honor of her birthday, here is a photo of Laura from our cruise last summer. This was just as the sun was setting on our last night, and it was a great night to be outside. It was a great cruise, too. But as fun as the cruise was, what made it really great was the person I was traveling with. That makes all the difference in the world.

It usually doesn’t work out that we get to do anything big to celebrate her birthday because of school schedules and such, but we do what we can. We didn’t even have a chance for a proper birthday photo this morning, so this will have to do.

But don’t worry, because we have already celebrated with birthday cake for the past two nights. No complaints there!
