Friendship and Walt Disney World Dolphin
A Friendship boat passes by the Walt Disney World Dolphin hotel. While we were there, several management and construction type people were checking out several things at the Swan and Dolphin hotels, point at something, discussing it, little things here and there. Hopefully, one of the things they were discussing was the paint on the upper triangular tower of the Dolphin, which you can see here looks better in some places than in other places.

Touring the Epcot Resorts
Over the last couple of years, I have become fascinated with the Epcot Resorts at Walt Disney World, which include the Swan and Dolphin, Yacht Club and Beach Club, and Boardwalk resorts. The Boardwalk is a pretty special place all on its own, with some great views up and down the Boardwalk. The Yacht and Beach Club resorts are really cool because the two resorts are just actually one great big, long building. And the Swan and Dolphin are interesting to me because of their unique architecture and colors as they face opposite of each other on Crescent Lake.
While each of those resorts would be neat on its own, what makes them even better is that they are all right there together, and you can walk from one to another in just a matter of minutes. Or if you want, you can ride a boat across the waterway from one to another. And if you walk between the Beach Club and the Boardwalk, you will find yourself in Epcot’s International Gateway, looking at France in World Showcase. In other words, you can cover a lot of ground in just a few minutes.
We like to walk to the different resorts and take a look around in each one. But we also saw several people out jogging between the resorts on our recent trip, and I can see how that would make a cool jogging path, too. Although not being a jogger, I prefer to just walk.
And besides, it is more difficult to take steady photos when you are jogging. Walking makes that much easier.
