Foggy Morning at the Road
The sun comes up over the road on a foggy morning.
I was pleasantly surprised to see some fog yesterday morning, so I grabbed my camera on the way out to see if I could get a few photos. When I got to the road, I saw this view looking down our street, so I got out of the car to get this photo. I suppose could have just rolled down the window instead of getting out of the car, but that would have been too easy.
I don’t really know what it is about fog that makes for interesting photos, but I do think it adds something extra to a scene. Maybe it helps to add depth, which is helpful when shooting with a wide-angle lens because you don’t usually get very much bokeh with those lenses.
Fog adds just a bit of mystery, too. After all, wasn’t it always foggy when they were driving the Mystery Machine around on all those old Scooby Doo cartoons?
Or maybe it is just my memory that is getting foggy.
