Favorite Disney Photo Spots

Yesterday, I was listening to the new ISO 5571 podcast. Which, if you can’t tell by the title, is all about photography at the Disney parks. Good stuff - you should check it out, if you are interested in that sort of thing.

The topic for their second episode was about their favorite photo spots in each park. And that got me to think about mine as well. So even though no one asked, here they are:

Magic Kingdom:
That’s an easy one for me - Main Street USA. So many great angles of the architecture, which is from a time period that fascinates me, anyway. And besides all that, there is a castle down at the end of the street, too.

Epcot:
While Spaceship Earth is definitely cool, and I do take quite a few photos of it on each visit, my pick would actually have to be China in World Showcase. It seems like every time you take a few steps, you have a completely different photo opportunity waiting for you.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios:
The Chinese Theater has always been a favorite of mine. Gone are the days when it stood as a symbol of the park at the end of Hollywood Boulevard, thanks to the large Sorcerer hat that was constructed in the way, but you can still get some good Chinese Theater photos if you try.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom:
This one was a little tough for me, because there are several things I like to photograph while I am there. But the one that always quickly draws my eye is the Tree of Life. So many great angles, so many interesting details.

So there you have it. Of course, all of that could change completely on my next trip, whenever it may be. And really, with so much to see all over the place, there really isn’t a bad photo spot that I have found. That is what makes going back so much fun.
