Emporium in the Magic Kingdom

Emporium in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World

The Emporium on Main Street USA in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.

I always like shopping in the Emporium on Main Street. Of course, it can get pretty crowded in the evening hours when everyone is trying to leave, so we try to avoid it during the crazy times.

But even better than shopping there, I like the architecture of the Emporium. Actually, I like all of the Main Street USA architecture. I like seeing real-life main streets, but the architecture in the southern towns isn’t quite like the architecture found on Main Street USA.

I like it enough that I still am not all that upset when they enclosed the side street that used to be where this part of the Emporium now stands. The side street did have a nice atmosphere to it, but the new architecture was well done, I thought. And at least they still have the side street on the other side of Main Street. Plus, the new addition gave even more room for shopping inside, too, which probably helps out with the nighttime crowds.

Maybe if we ever get brave enough to go back into the Emporium after the fireworks, we will find out.
