Early Fall Morning
As much as I hate to see the summer end, sometimes fall has some pretty cool colors. This photo was of the view from our front porch early one morning just as the sun was starting to come up.
Several clouds were lingering in the area, partially hiding the blue sky. The green grass is starting to turn brown, which is a welcome relief to those who feel that they spend all their time cutting grass. Some of the trees are starting to take on some interesting colors. And the rose bush at the far right still has a few blooms left on it.
Fortunately for those of us who don’t like the cold weather, the temperatures haven’t been all that bad. Cool mornings are balanced out by warm afternoons. There have been a couple of days that were actually cold, but not too many so far. Hopefully, most of those will hold off until winter.
In the meantime, I will just enjoy the eye-catching colors of fall.
