Disney Dream Promenade at Night

Disney Dream Promenade at Night

On our previous cruises with the Disney Cruise Line, one of our favorite places to spend time was always the Deck 4 Promenade. But for our recent cruise on the Disney Dream, we had a stateroom with a verandah, so we spent more time there than on the Promenade.

Still, we took a stroll along the Promenade each night after our dinner, partly to enjoy the cooler night air, and partly to work off some of the large amounts that we ate each night. It was hard to turn away all of that good food!

And in our time spent there, the Promenade was still as enjoyable as ever. It was neat to be able to look out and see nothing but stars and darkness. Several from our group enjoyed playing shuffleboard, and some of us spent some time relaxing in the deck chairs. A pretty nice place to be.

While I usually prefer color for my photos, something about this night shot in black and white appealed to me, and I like the atmosphere that the absence of color gives to the Promenade area. Almost like something out of an old movie.
