Day at Sea on the Disney Dream

Day at Sea on the Disney Dream

A view from the front of the Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Dream ship on a day at sea.

It may not be everyone’s favorite, but I have always enjoyed the day at sea on our Disney cruises. While it is nice to be able to see and do things in Nassau or Castaway Cay, there is always plenty to do on the ship, and a day at sea is a good time to enjoy those things.

Of course, the downside is that everyone on the ship is trying to do the things there are to do on the ship, because there isn’t anywhere else to go. I would imagine one of the best times to explore the ship is when it is at Castaway Cay because everyone is off on the island enjoying everything there. But then so are we, because we enjoy Castaway Cay, too.

This photo was taken from the forward end of the upper deck. We didn’t see much of this area on this cruise, because we were there as a family and this part of the deck was for those 18 and over only. So while I had a few moments to myself, I strolled around to get some photos like this one. Sure was quiet up there!
