Daily Photo: Tree of Life

Standing below the Tree of Life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, you really get a sense of just how tall this tree really is as it towers over you. You also have a chance to see just how many animals carved into the tree that you can find.

We took one of the paths that runs along and underneath the Tree of Life to get a closer look. We could have looked quite a bit longer, and we still would not have seen everything there is to see there. Impressive!

About the shot:
Nothing special here besides what I usually do. Three exposures (-2, 0, +2) merged and tonemapped in Photomatix and edited in GIMP. Even with my wide angle lens, it was impossible to get the entire tree in the frame. It is just that big.
