Daily Photo: Toy Soldier Band
One thing I always enjoy seeing in the Christmas parade at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is the toy soldier band, along with the non-musical soldiers who march in formation. One reason I like them is that they look just like the toy soldiers in the Disney version of “Babes in Toyland,” but life size.
But I think I like these guys even more because they actually play their instruments. They aren’t some sort of fake band that just marches along without playing. They actually play. And because I have marched in a parade or two while playing an instrument back in the day, I know some of what that requires. Pretty cool!

Just another simple shot I took while sitting on the curb watching the parade go by. The RAW file was then tonemapped in Photomatix, and then touched up a bit using GIMP.
