Daily Photo: Tortuga Tavern

Tortuga Tavern in Adventureland is one of my favorite restaurants in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Actually, I have liked it from back in the days when it was known as El Pirata y el Perico, and I was glad that they didn’t change the menu much when they changed the name. My favorite thing there is a Taco Salad - they give you a tortilla bowl with taco meat, and then you can go put all your toppings on it at the topping bar. Good stuff!

Tortuga Tavern is often only open for lunch, so we have to time our visit just right. Although on our last visit I was pleased to learn that Pecos Bill Cafe (which actually shares the kitchen with Tortuga Tavern) also has Taco Salads.

And if you look closely, Superman is also a satisfied customer!
