Daily Photo: The United Kingdom at Epcot

One thing that is different about our Christmas visits to Walt Disney World as compared to our summer visits is the amount of nighttime hours at Christmas. Because the sun goes down earlier, there is more after dark time in the parks. While in the past I might have just put my camera away, this time around I felt I was more prepared for nighttime shooting.

While we were at Epcot’s World Showcase, some of our group were shopping in the United Kingdom. While waiting for them, I stepped outside and took this photo of the UK street, which was surprisingly empty of people.

About the shot:
This probably would have been even better if I had actually used my tripod, but I didn’t. Instead, I just steadied myself against a wall. No HDR here, just a single RAW file. And then I touched it up a bit in PaintShop Pro.
