Daily Photo: Sea Oats and Sand

Sea Oats and Sand at Cocoa Beach, Florida

Sea oats grow in the sand with the Atlantic Ocean in the background at Lori Wilson Park at Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Apparently, I think that sea oats with the beach in the background make for good photos because I always come home with lots of photos of sea oats. I suppose that they are like palm trees. That is to say, they are something that we don’t have around here, so that makes them interesting to me, even though they are rather commonplace there on the beach.

And I suppose that goes for the beach in general, too, because we don’t have one of those around here, either. Which probably explains why I take so many photos of the beach in general, too.

About the Photo

A single RAW exposure, processed in Adobe Lightroom and PaintShop Pro. This photo turned out to be quite noisy, but PaintShop Pro helped clean up the noise rather well. Read more about the photo software I use and my camera gear.
