Lights at the Polynesian Village Resort at Walt Disney World

Lanterns on top of posts light the way at the Polynesian Resort at Walt Disney World in Florida as the sun goes down.

I have always thought that these old-style lanterns were neat, and in recent years I seem to always work them into one or two photos that I take there. Or probably several photos. Because I can’t just take one or two.

The lanterns seem to make a perfect foreground element for the Polynesian building that is across the water. They look good in the daytime, but they look even better when the sun goes down.
