Daily Photo: Our Beach Spot

Each morning at Cocoa Beach, Florida, we would get there pretty early to stake out our beach spot. And actually, we ended up in just about the same spot each day. That brown palm frond at the lower right was my marker for where we had been.

Of course, after a little while there were people all around us. It was interesting to me that no matter where we put our beach umbrella, sooner or later someone would put their stuff right in front of us. It didn’t matter that much to us, because we were usually out in the water, anyway.

And those who put their stuff up closer to the water sometimes found out that it wasn’t the best idea when high tide came along.
