Daily Photo: Mexico at Epcot

Mexico in Epcot at Walt Disney World is my favorite World Showcase pavilion. On most days, at least. Sometimes it is hard to pick a favorite, and I just like them all.

I have always liked how you walk into a Mexican pyramid and then find yourself in a Mexican village at night. For most people, it is one of those, “How did they do that?” moments, wondering where that village came from, because the pyramid outside definitely doesn’t look big enough to hold it all. Pretty cool.

About the shot:
Three exposures (-2, 0, +2) merged and tonemapped in Photomatix, finished up in PaintShop Pro. When I was taking the shots, I didn’t even notice the restaurant reservation guy in the foreground. I just was interested in getting my shots and moving on. Not that I mind him being there or anything.
